Merchant Account Server

Okay, I admit. I am not at all happy right now with our merchant account server! The terminal has been acting up quite a bit lately and we have had to manually process charges or even call the company and have them do the credit card processing. The problem was reported when it first occurred, and the company was supposed to make some technical adjustments to our terminal from the main office. Whatever they did accomplished nothing as the terminal continued to reject card after card.

We purchased additional coverage, so they have to replace the terminal, or so you would think. Now we have been informed that the terminal we have is no longer being used. A new terminal has to be purchased at a hefty price. I slowly count to ten and ask why we were not told this type of terminal was on its way out. After some exchange of words by yours truly, an agreement was reached that they would give the value of the old terminal, toward the purchase of a new one. Caveat Emptor!
